Summer 2012... in a nutshell

This summer was crazy busy. I felt like we weren't home ever.
Or at least I wasn't.
Between beach trip, girls camp, weddings, baby showers, and just plain visiting family there was no time for anything.
I hope next summer is as fun-filled as this last one. And since we don't have kids I think that's possible.

For 4th of July my dad and his wife came up so we got to visit with them for a day or two and watch fireworks at Redrock Casino. That was fun.

My sister and her cute little family were sealed this summer so we attended that. It was wonderful and so great. Morgan was asked to be a witness and was so honored.

Redlands Temple

I never thought in a million years I would be back at Girls' Camp, well I went. It is a lot different going as a leader.
You don't have to be anywhere and get certified. I got to just relax when the girls were at their activities.
But the fun activities I had to join in on. Like archery (Hunger Games did just come out), rock wall, and the wonderful 3rd year hike.

One of my good friends Chelsey Tobar got married this summer too. So I was more than happy to go back to the old stomping grounds in San Diego for the sealing, plus I got to stay with my mom.

Alex, Devon, and Jessica

Right when they came out of the temple.
So many people were there to wish them well so I couldn't get close enough for a good picture.

My best friend in the whole world, Lindsey

One of the most gorgeous brides I have ever seen.

Growing up my family always rented a beach house and we would stay there for a week during the summer, well as we got older and life happened we stopped doing that.
But my wonderful mom has decided to do start it again, I think because she wants to spend time with her grandkids and not us so much anymore.
It was so fun. Everyone was able to be there at one time or another and it was Morgan's first time actually staying in Newport Beach for an extended time.

Riding bikes before sunset.

My cute niece and nephew going for a bike ride.

I think Kyle and Megan enjoyed building the sandcastle more than Jayden did.

Seriously isn't he the cutest.

We had to bury a whole under the blanket for her belly so she could lay out.

Cool dude.

Grandma and Jay-Jay. They look so much alike even though they aren't blood related.

Ashley and baby Conner

The boys playing badminton.

Phil taking Steven down to the water.

In Huntington beach on the pier.

Balboa Pier getting Ruby's.

We went to the Eric Church concert and I loved it, Morgan not so much. He was tolerant of it.

Summer was wonderful.
